Open Call for applications to the Performing Arts Fund and Artist's Salary

Applications for grants from the Performing Arts Fund and Artist's Salary have been opened. The application deadline is at 15.00, 3 October 2022.

The Althingi provides annual funds in support of performing arts funds with the aim of strengthening the performing arts and creating favourable conditions for them. Grants are awarded to individual projects of professional arts groups. An application to the Performing Arts Fund can also apply as an application to the artist's salary if specified in the application form.

You can apply on the Rannís website -

A change has been made to the application system that there is no longer a need to include a budget in a separate document, but is included in the application system.

We recommend that applicants familiarise themselves with the application system in a new tutorial video from Rannís.
