Open call for participation at CINARS 2022

Performing Arts Centre Iceland calls for performers and/or groups to participate in one of the world's largest performing arts markets - CINARS in Montreal Canada, from November 7-12.

The CINARS Performing Arts Market is held every two years and is considered one of the most important platforms for professionals within the performing arts in North America. There, performers, presenters, programmers and producers come together for sharing and networking.

This year Performing Arts Centre Iceland collaborates with the other Nordic promotional centres under the name Nordics Combined.

Performing Arts Centre selects participants from submitted applications and grants them travel grants and pays the participation fee for the festival.  Participants themselves cover some of the costs, book flights and accommodation.

Draft schedule for participants:

* Nordic Pulse, pitch session

* Booth at The Nordic Square

* Access to CINARS performances

* Nordic party

* Events for professionals and networking

Participation in CINARS is specifically aimed at performers and groups who envision North America as a potential market for their work.

The application must be submitted on English through the application form in the link below. We ask for finished texts, as they could be used in the festival's program, appearing on websites and social media.

Application deadline is September 30th
