Allocation of translation grants from the Performing Arts Centre Iceland April 18th

The Advisory Board of Performing Arts Centre Iceland completed allocating translation grants on 18 April 2023, which were advertised for application on 8 March. A total of 4 applications for translation grants were received. This time the allocation was 750 thousand ISK. When selecting projects, the goal was to attract interest, increase visibility and demand of Icelandic plays abroad.   The Advisory Board for this application round included Ólafur Kjartan Sigurðarson, Ólöf Ingólfsdóttir and Rebekka Ingimundardóttir. Fridrik Fridriksson chaired the meeting of the board on behalf of Performing Arts Centre Iceland.
